I have enjoyed the stories you have been featuring during this pandemic time. They have been fun and inspiring to see. Thank you for encouraging and sharing them! Of course I was very proud to see Ava’s monologue.
I was so glad to see you brought the powerstories message into the online world to keep us connected. I’ve enjoyed so much seeing the heart and soul that is powerstories throughout each episode and when Rachel wrote “the little theater that could” my heart smiled. You and every person with powerstories holds such a beautiful and special place in my heart Fran.
Ever grateful for this source of inspiration and creative outlet.
Roughly eight years ago, I auditioned and was accepted into a wonderful program called Girlstories, a youth theatre programme that Founder Fran Taylor Powers, created to remind young girls to Dream Big and to always Follow their Vision(s). It was my first experience taking part in an Original play, where I and many other girls, shared individual stories of empowerment, joy, hardship, and love (to name a few). It really helped me come out of my shell, and feel the magic of sisterhood and community, something that is SO very important for our youth to experience. This year, I was invited to take part in #postivelypowerstories, where those in local communities take part in sharing their own personal stories. This series is particularly dedicated to Mother’s Day, and to spread joy and hope during these difficult times… Thank you for all you’ve done and continue to do in our community and for our world, Mrs. Fran!
Thank you for making my Tuesday a little bit brighter. Tuesday is no longer just about Tmobile Tuesday customer perks; it’s feel-good stories too! I really enjoyed the kids’ episode and hope you feature more young people.
Most amazing Lady,
I look forward to all your Powerstories and they change my life..
Fran Powers, this project is so you and what you bring to our world. Just another indication that you are truly an Angel, barely disguised as a human being.
Thank you, with love.
Thank you for this wonderful project!! You are truly a leader and an inspiration. I will forward this on to all of the many storytellers that have been graced by your vision at Moffitt. Many, I think, would love to contribute. I also want to send a story….when I can find a truly funny/uplifting one in the file cabinet of my memories….
Happy 20th anniversary to Tampa’s Powerstories Theatre, marking the milestone by launching a collection of stories of joy during the pandemic!
I think the power of positivity is always important to acknowledge and embrace, and, of course, especially now in these trying times.
What a special tribute. Hearing “Taps” played always grounds me as I remember my fallen squadron mates. Thanks!
What a great message. I also am always touched to hear taps. Thank you.
